Okay bloggers, how can you match the success of Upworthy, the junk merchant that’s figured out the secret to attracting vast hordes of Web and social media traffic? This infographic has the answers.
As I’m sure you know by now, it’s not as easy as it looks. But you can see the tremendous appeal of Upworthy‘s headlines. For instance, who wouldn’t click on a post entitled “Mitt Romney Accidentally Confronts a Gay Veteran, Awesomeness Ensues”? Or “Bully Calls News Anchor Fat, News Anchor Destroys Him on Live TV”?
That’s not all. You might not be able to duplicate Upworthy’s success if you follow its path, but I’m sure there’s one or two tips in here that might enhance your blogging mojo. My advice: Create the next Upworthy, but make it something uniquely yours. Plug: My book shows you how to do that.
